Julia Whitworth is an intuitive abstract and landscape artist who is known for taking adventures to inspire her collections. Her works are remarkable for how they bring about nostalgia, peace, and warmth to any home.
the hustle + bustle of life can be draining.
I found myself in a cycle that went a lot like: wake-up, traffic, work, traffic, dinner, tv, phone scrolling, sleep, repeat…and something was missing. Turns out, dedicated time to explore, play and create was that missing piece for me. Now I am awake and living a life that sets my heart on fire.
Drawing inspiration from the world outside and music that moves me, I aspire to tell a story with color and invoke emotion onto canvas. Large sweeping brush strokes paired with the fluidity of water is a consistent and strong feature in my work, symbolizing the emergence from past constraints to find peace and clarity that only comes from within.
It is my hope that you examine the changes causing friction in your own life as you explore my work. May you find clarity, as I have.
